·  General Medicine: The MD (Doctor of Medicine) or MBBS (Master of Business Administration) programme at the Ivano Frankivsk National Medical University lasts six years. The medical school was established in 1956. During the six-year undergraduate curriculum, students learn a variety of subjects ranging from core sciences to specialised medical areas. Modern medicine uses health science, biomedical research, and medical technology to diagnose and treat injury and disease, usually with medication, surgery, or some other type of treatment.

·  Dentistry: The curriculum for the dentistry faculty is developed over a five-year period. Students learn the fundamentals of medical and biological profile, as well as a variety of clinical disciplines that are essential for a dentist. The postgraduate programmes last two or three years. The major goal of postgraduate training is to allow medical students to continue their study and develop their abilities in preparation for further certification. Faculty is focused on the training and enhancement of specialists' qualifications and abilities in order to master not only current medical knowledge but also new innovative technologies of today and tomorrow.

Ivano Frankivsk National Medical University Hostel

The hostel system of the National Medical University of Ivano-Frankivsk is remarkable. There are three hostels with a total capacity of more than 2000 students. The rooms are completely equipped and include a two-bed and three-bed room with an adjoining toilet in an apartment-style structure. There is a common hall and a shared kitchen for cooking on each floor. A gym/recreation facility with a table tennis table is located on the ground floor. Beds, mattresses, pillows, blankets, two side tables, one cupboard, and one table and chair are provided in each hostel room. The bedsheets and pillowcases are changed once a week for the occupants. All of the rooms have central heating. The Dean's office and the city centre are around 2 kilometres apart from the main hostel. This distance is covered by many buses. Supermarkets and grocery stores are within walking distance of the hostel (around 2-3 minutes). However, the hostel has a competitive admissions process. It's on a first-come, first-served basis and is subject to availability.
