Belgorod State Medical University was founded in 1876 and is located in Belgorod, Russia, on the west bank of the Volga River. It has undergone numerous alterations before becoming a well-known name in the field of medical education, and it is currently one of Russia's top universities. About the City

Belgorod is the administrative headquarters of the Belgorod Oblast in Russia. Belgorod is located on the Russia–Ukraine border, along the upper Donets River, and is served by the Moscow–Kharkiv (Ukraine) and Sumy–Donets Basin railways. Since 1869, there has been a railway connection between Belgorod and Moscow. Belgorod is served by the Belgorod International Airport (EGO).  Belgorod has a humid continental climate with moderate precipitation. Winters are chilly and unpredictable, with frequent warmings followed by precipitation. Temperatures may fall below 15 °C (5 °F) on occasion for a week or more. Summer is hot. By the end of November or the beginning of December, the Belgorod reservoirs are covered with ice, and the ice covering normally lasts until March or April.

Belgorod State Medical University Faculties and Courses Offered

The University is divided into 24 departments, 16 of which are based on our region's top medical and preventative care facilities. Students receive hands-on training in 22 healthcare organisations as well as pharmaceutical institutions. The Institute has increased its available regions this year, reorganised certain departments and developed new ones, and designated two departments (hospital therapy and hospital surgery) as essential.

Education is provided through eight higher education programmes and fifteen secondary-level medical and pharmaceutical education programmes, as well as Clinical Residency and Internship programmes. The specialisation employs 95% of institute graduates.

The Institute has a total of 10,000 students. Every year, around 400 specialists with advanced university degrees and 500 medical attendants graduate from a higher education institution. During the academic year, 6000 healthcare professionals attend the Institute to improve their abilities.

A minimum of 60% marks in Chemistry, Biology and English is required to get into Belgorod State Medical University. Candidates who have passed the NEET exam and have the required NEET score are eligible to apply to Kursk State Medical University. Candidate must be at least 17 years old.
